Bloomfield Babe Ruth All-Stars Take Over Yogi Berra Field

More than 200 fans watched the all-star game.

The Bloomfield Babe Ruth Spring league played its 2nd annual East vs West All-Star game at Yogi Berra Stadium in front of over 200 fans. The game featured players from 6 different teams along with the ceremonial first pitch thrown out by Bloomfield Babe Ruth Michael Cozzolongo award winner Steven Otero.   Bloomfield Babe Ruth league represented the community well, even being told by the organization in charge of the event they the league was a 1st Class Organization.

This is one of the many fun events the Babe Ruth league has held over the past few years.  Last Year the League held Movie Night at the Field and a Trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.   The kids visited the Hall of Fame and played a 9 inning game at Doubleday field.  The Babe Ruth league will travel to Cooperstown again at the end of July.
