Bloomfield Beauty Supply Workers Robbed, Pepper Sprayed: Police
A trio of women allegedly pepper sprayed two workers at a Bloomfield beauty supply shop and fled the scene, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A trio of women allegedly pepper sprayed two workers at a Bloomfield beauty supply shop and fled the scene with an “unknown amount of proceeds” earlier this month, police said.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the robbery took place on Oct. 5 at Pearl Beauty Supply on Franklin Street. When officers arrived on the scene, an employee told them that three females had entered the store, “caused a disturbance” and tried to steal items.
The women then allegedly pepper sprayed two workers at the store and fled the scene in a black SUV. It wasn’t known what they stole, authorities stated.

Police searched the area after the incident with negative results, authorities said.
