BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police arrested two people in connection with a burglary that took place at a local business last week, authorities said Wednesday.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to 150 Bloomfield Avenue (Quality Auto Center) after getting a report about a burglary on Oct. 6.

The manager told officers that the suspects – who were captured on video surveillance – entered the business the previous night through a bay door. They took $700 in cash from the register and an employee’s cell phone, authorities said.
