Bloomfield Business Burglarized, Safe Stolen: Police
Two men recently broke into a Bloomfield business and stole a safe, police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two men recently broke into a Bloomfield business and stole a safe, police announced Wednesday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to 97 Orange Street (Jersey Wheels) on Sept. 17 after getting a report about a burglary. The officers found pry mark damage on the front door and a broken front window.
The owner provided police with video surveillance footage that showed two men trying to use a pry bar to break into the business. When their attempt failed, they broke the front window, went to the office and removed a safe.
