Bloomfield Car Sideswiped During Attempt To Pass On Left: Cops

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A minor car crash took place on Franklin Street in Bloomfield near Municipal Plaza on Monday afternoon. No injuries were reported, police said.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the accident was “not out of the ordinary” and took place when one vehicle attempted to pass another on the left, “causing a sideswipe of vehicles.”

Both vehicles were traveling south on Franklin Street at the intersection of Municipal Plaza when the collision took place, police said.
