Bloomfield Clothes, Toy Drive For 2018 Holidays

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Have some new gloves, hats, socks or scarves that you’d like to pass on to an in-need neighbor? Here’s your chance, Bloomfield.
The Bloomfield Police Department Community Policing Unit will once again team up with the township Human Services Department to assist local residents. Organizers are collecting new hats, gloves, socks and scarves that will be distributed to those in need.
The deadline for drop off is Friday, Dec. 21. The drop off location is Bloomfield Police Headquarters. There is a bin located at the front desk for donations, organizers said.

Bloomfield police are also holding their annual toy drive, and are seeking donations of unwrapped toys for the holiday season. Donations should be brought to the drop off location at the Youth Aid Division of the BPD headquarters at 1 Municipal Plaza by Sunday, Dec. 16.
