Bloomfield Cops Arrest 3, Gun and Drugs Found
Bloomfield police recovered a Colt .45 caliber handgun, Xanax and allegedly counterfeit $20 bills.

Bloomfield, NJ - The Bloomfield Police Department arrested three Essex County men on Tuesday, recovering a gun and narcotics during the encounter, police reported.
According to police, members of the BPD Anti-Crime Unit conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Liberty Street and State Street for equipment violations around 10:12 p.m. During the stop, officers allegedly detected an odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.
Following a series of interviews, the front passenger – Terrance Herring, 23, of Newark - exited the vehicle and fled on foot, police stated.

Officers apprehended Herring after a brief foot pursuit, later recovering a Colt .45 caliber handgun that he allegedly discarded during the chase.
Police also arrested the car’s driver, Josaih Agbo, 21, of Newark, and passenger Anthony Robinson, 24, of Belleville, charging them with Possession of CDS (Xanax), Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of a Park, and Conspiracy.

Josaih Agbo was also charged with Forgery after officers discovered multiple allegedly counterfeit $20 dollar bills in his possession, police stated.
Bail was set for each at $25,000 with no 10 percent option.
Authorities charged Herring with multiple firearm offenses, along with Possession of CDS, Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS within 500 feet of a Park and Resisting Arrest by Flight.
His bail was set at $75,000 with no 10 percent option.
