Bloomfield Cops Charge Montclair Man With Robbery
Bloomfield police say the Montclair man robbed a 21-year-old victim inside a Park Avenue garage.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police arrested a Montclair man and charged him with robbery after he allegedly accosted a 21-year-old victim in a Park Avenue garage earlier this month, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, a male victim told officers that Damon Woods, 21, of Montclair, robbed him as the pair were waiting for mutual friends inside a garage on May 15.
The victim alleged that Woods threatened him with an object that he believed to be a gun, stole his money and phone and then fled the area on foot, police stated.

Detectives identified Woods as the suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest. Montclair police officers took him into custody on May 23, authorities said.
