Bloomfield Cops Forgo Lip-Synch Challenge For Anti-Bullying Video

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Yup, the Bloomfield Police Department has been asked to participate in the “lip-synch challenge,” a social media fad where officers sing and dance to pop songs, such as "Thriller" and "Ice Ice Baby." But instead, the department opted to do something “more heartfelt and educational.”
It’s virtually impossible to find fault with the BPD’s decision, especially after seeing the anti-bullying message of their Junior Police Academy recruits, who created an awesome public service video (watch below).
The video has a simple message, police said: Bullying is not acceptable!

“We ask that you help spread love instead of hate,” the Bloomfield Division of Public Safety stated on its Facebook page. “If you or someone you know is being bullied, please speak up.”
