Bloomfield Cops Help Revive Possibly Overdosing Woman: Montgomery Street

Officers were told that the woman recently consumed morphine and alcohol, Bloomfield police say.

Bloomfield, NJ – Bloomfield police officers helped to revive a possibly overdosing woman last week, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, three officers responded to a Montgomery Street apartment on a report of a possible drug overdose on April 27.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found an unconscious, non-breathing female lying on the floor.

The officers were reportedly advised that the victim recently used morphine and alcohol, authorities stated.

Police performed CPR on the woman, successfully resuscitating her, authorities said.

Emergency responders then transported her to Clara Maass Hospital, police stated.
