BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Don’t park next to a crosswalk. That’s the message Bloomfield police have for local drivers as they ramp up a new traffic enforcement campaign.

Earlier this week, police announced they are cracking down on motorists who park too close to crosswalks in Bloomfield.

How close is too close? Parking within 25 feet of a crosswalk is prohibited, authorities said.
