BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police revived a possibly overdosing man during a medical call to a North 16th Street apartment earlier this month, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, police were dispatched to the apartment on Aug. 16, where they discovered an unconscious male. Officers found a syringe and three glassine envelopes “commonly used for heroin” nearby.

The two officers administered CPR and a dose of Naloxone HC1 to the man, who eventually regained consciousness, police said.
