The Bloomfield Police Department will be cracking down on drivers who don't stop for pedestrians in marked crosswalks.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Get ready for “cops in crosswalks” in Bloomfield.

During the month of March, the Bloomfield Police Department will be cracking down on drivers who don’t stop for pedestrians in marked crosswalks. The campaign will take place at “several locations throughout the township,” authorities said.

Bloomfield police have launched similar traffic safety efforts in the past.
