Bloomfield Cops Will Hold Pre-Thanksgiving DWI Checkpoint

Bloomfield Police: The Nov. 21 sobriety checkpoint will help combat a "disproportionate number of drunk driving incidents" on Bloomfield Ave

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — In an effort to combat a “disproportionate number of drunk driving incidents” on Bloomfield Avenue, the Bloomfield Police Department will hold a DWI checkpoint on Wednesday, Nov. 21, the day before Thanksgiving.

According to the BPD, the sobriety checkpoint is being conducted to raise awareness of impaired driving by educating motorists and arresting impaired drivers.
