Bloomfield CVS Manager Robbed At Gunpoint: Cops Seek ‘Raspy-Voiced’ Man

"Shut the f*** up and keep walking… Everything will be fine," the man told his victim, shortly before pepper spraying him, police say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police are seeking a “raspy-voiced” man who allegedly robbed the manager of a local CVS at gunpoint on Tuesday, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the manager of a local CVS told officers that he was walking to the PNC Bank with the store’s deposit money when a man approached him near the stairwell to the Lackawanna Train Station.

The manager told officers that the man stuck an unknown object against his waist and told him “Shut the f*** up and keep walking… Everything will be fine.”

After allegedly asking the manager if there were any surveillance cameras in the area, the man then led his victim through the nearby KFC parking lot and into a Henry Street driveway. At that point, the suspect allegedly took the manager’s backpack – which contained around $3,000 to $4,000 in cash – pepper sprayed him in the face and fled the scene, police said.

The victim described his attacker as a black male in his mid-20s, about 6 feet with a light, full beard and a “raspy voice,” and wearing a black hat, dark sunglasses, a navy-blue hoodie and black jeans, police said.
