Bloomfield Gas Station Worker Shot In Leg During Robbery: Police
Two men demanded cash. The attendant refused to give them any. Here's what happened next, Bloomfield police say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A gas station attendant was shot in the leg during a robbery in Bloomfield earlier this month, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to the Valero/7-Eleven at 122 Bloomfield Avenue on July 13 after getting a report about a robbery.
The attendant told police that two men arrived at the station in a black sedan and demanded money. When the worker refused to surrender any cash, one of the men pulled out a black handgun and shot him in the leg. The men then fled the scene, authorities said.

Bloomfield police continue to investigate the robbery, authorities said Wednesday.
The victim has since been released from the hospital, a police spokesperson told Patch. No additional information was immediately available.
