Bloomfield Has 5th Water Main Break In 2 Weeks: See Locations

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield has seen its fifth water main break in two weeks, authorities reported Tuesday.
The latest break took place on the 400-block of Bloomfield Avenue, according to an advisory from the town’s public works department.
“As a result of this work, water service may be impacted for residents in the immediate area, including Bloomfield Avenue, Hill Street and Orange Street on the westbound side,” administrators said.

“Crews are actively working to complete repairs and restore normal service as quickly as possible,” the DPW added. “We appreciate your patience during this emergency repair.”
