Bloomfield Health Spa Keeps Racking Up Prostitution Arrests
The Bloomfield Avenue health spa has been the site of repeated prostitution-related arrests over the years, police say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Bloomfield health spa has racked up another prostitution-related charge, its third in the past three months, local police say.
According to police, an anti-crime unit conducted an undercover operation at the Bloomfield Health Spa at 599 Bloomfield Avenue around 10:45 a.m. on March 21, resulting in the arrest of Li Guishun, 61, of Fairview, on solicitation of prostitution charges.
The March 21 incident was the latest in a series of prostitution-related arrests that have been made at the Bloomfield Avenue health spa in recent years.

Bloomfield officers arrested a woman from Flushing, New York, at the club for alleged prostitution on March 3.

In July of 2016, Bloomfield police arrested two women from Flushing, New York, during a sting at the spa. Both suspects were charged with prostitution and released pending a court date, authorities said.

In July of 2013, Bloomfield police alleged that an undercover officer entered the spa and received a massage that he paid for with marked bills. Police said during the investigation, the masseuse "propositioned" the officer.
During a search of the premises, investigators found the marked bills used by the undercover officer in addition to more than $16,000 in cash hidden throughout the business, police said.
