Bloomfield To Hold 2023 Juneteenth Celebration: Speeches, Music, Food

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Township of Bloomfield will hold an event to celebrate Juneteenth on Saturday, June 17.

The town’s 2023 event will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on Glenwood Avenue between Washington Street and Lackawanna Avenue.

According to organizers:

“The event will commemorate the end of slavery in the United States and celebrate the rich history and culture of African Americans, and will include music, food, and activities for people of all ages. There will be performances by local artists, as well as speeches by community leaders and historians.”
