Bloomfield To Hold Virtual Town Hall Meeting On COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution

BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- The township will hold a virtual Town Hall meeting this Wednesday at 3:00pm via Zoom, to inform the public about the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. Speakers at the meeting will include Essex County Health Officer Maya Lordo, Bloomfield Director of Health and Welfare Karen Lore and Dr. Naveen Ballem of Clara Maass Medical Center.

“The beginning of the end of this health crisis is finally here with a vaccine now being administered to our frontline workers,” said Mayor Venezia. “Soon, the general public will be able to get vaccinated and the Council and I would like for our residents to be informed and have all of their questions answered. We have leading health experts from our community that will be part of this meeting and it will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about this process together.”
