BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Bloomfield home was recently burglarized, with the thief stealing about $10,000 worth of belongings from the garage, police announced Wednesday.

The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about the burglary, which was reported on July 29:

“Officers responded to the area of Spruce Street after getting a report about a burglary that occurred between May 29 and July 29. The complainant’s residence was vacant since May 29. Upon arriving to the residence, the complainant noticed a PlayStation 3, Snap On toolbox, frame machine and air compressor were missing from the garage. The items were valued at $10,000.”

The burglary is under investigation, police said.
