Bloomfield Homeowner Finds Ladder Against Home After Burglary: Cops

A Bloomfield homeowner reported that someone burglarized his home, leaving a ladder propped up against the side of house.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Bloomfield homeowner reported that someone burglarized his home last month, leaving a ladder propped up against the side of house, police say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the Essex Avenue homeowner told officers that the burglary took place during the morning hours of June 16.

The homeowner told officers that he found the ladder on the side of his house which enabled the burglar to access an upstairs bedroom window. The home security cameras at the residence were discovered disconnected, police stated.
