Bloomfield Jewelry Store Robbed: Police
The men allegedly ordered the store's employees to lie on the ground, then attempted to grab jewelry from the cases, Bloomfield police said.
Bloomfield, NJ – A Bloomfield jewelry store was robbed a day before Christmas Eve by three men, authorities stated.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, three men entered the Jewelry Exchange on Bloomfield Avenue around 5:35 p.m. on Dec. 23, one of whom was armed with a silver, automatic handgun.
The men allegedly ordered the store’s employees to lie on the ground, then attempted to grab jewelry from the cases, police stated.

The store owner was able to hit the panic alarm, which caused the three suspects to flee the store without any proceeds, police said.
Officers canvassed area with negative results for suspects, and detectives are conducting an investigation, police added.
