Bloomfield Launches New Programs For Seniors At Cultural Center
Are you an older adult looking to connect with your peers? The Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center may have what you seek.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Township of Bloomfield recently announced the launch of new senior programming at the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center, 240 Belleville Avenue.
The center will host senior programming every Monday and Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m. It’s part of an effort to create a welcoming space for older adults to “connect and thrive,” township officials said.
Seniors 60 and over are invited to stop by for a chance to socialize and enjoy activities like chair yoga and bingo. Coffee and tea will be served, and attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch to share a meal with fellow seniors and friends. No registration is required, organizers said.
