BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield Mayor Jenny Mundell presented her 2026 State of the Township address on Tuesday evening.

Other topics included the municipal budget, a roof collapse at 27 Park Place, and the town’s commitment to remain a “fair and welcoming community” for immigrants.
The evening was emceed by Councilwoman Sarah Cruz and included remarks from Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo Jr. The event featured participation from local organizations including the Bloomfield Police Department Honor Guard, Bloomfield High School Choir students, Oakeside Seniors, Girl Scout troops, and student entrepreneurs from Bloomfield High School’s HER Empowerment Remedy Club, in addition to local religious leaders.
