Police Blotter: Aug. 31 to Sept. 6

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are reprinted directly from the Bloomfield police blotter, a listing of selected incidents that may not include the full scope of activity in the area. All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
8/31/2015 – A 38 year old resident of N. 15th Street was revived by Officer Dominick Sodano, Bloomfield EMS workers and Hospital Medics at 4 p.m. by successfully administering several doses of Narcan. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for further treatment.

9/1/2015 - A resident on the 100 block of East Passaic Avenue reported to police that he went out to check his backyard at approximately 8:20 p.m. because his dog was barking. After checking the interior of his garage he exited the side door when an unknown individual struck him in the head. Victim received a laceration above his right eye and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. A check of the area was negative for any suspect or witnesses.
9/1/2015- A 1995 Nissan Sentra with Florida license plates was stolen from the lower end of Belmont Avenue sometime between 8/31 and 9/1/2015.

9/1/2015 - A 2011 Honda with Pennsylvania license plates was stolen from the parking lot of 300 Broad Acres Drive sometime between 10:00 am and 3:20 pm.
9/2/2015 – A shopper in the Stop & Shop reported to police that a wallet was stolen from her purse while she was shopping at approximately 3:10 pm. The value of the wallet and its contents is estimated to be $310.
9/3/2015 – A resident of Day Street reported that they had their 2007 Honda Accord towed from Point Pleasant and was to be delivered by AAA to his residence in Bloomfield. The vehicle never arrived and the towing company told the owner that the vehicle was delivered. AAA is aware of incident and looking into this matter. The vehicle has been entered stolen.
9/6/2015 – A 1994 Nissan Sentra with NJ license plates was stolen from Abington Avenue sometime between 9/03 and 9/06/2015.
