Bloomfield Needs To Fill School Crossing Guard Position

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — If you’re looking to make some extra cash while helping to protect the schoolchildren of Bloomfield, there may be a job opening with your name on it.

According to a flyer from the Bloomfield Police Department released Wednesday, the agency is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a school crossing guard position. The job is “responsible for assisting children and other pedestrians in crossing at specified streets and intersections along school routes.”

The pay is $14.21 per hour to start. Hours vary week to week with a minimum of 15 per week.
