Bloomfield Pedestrian Robbed And Hit In Head While Talking On Phone: Police
The alleged robbery took place as the victim was talking on the phone on Belleville Avenue, Bloomfield police say.

Bloomfield, NJ – A 25-year-old man was robbed and struck in the head on Belleville Avenue on Dec. 20, police stated.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the robbery took place on Belleville Ave near Edgewood Road as the man was walking and talking on his cell phone.
At that time, a male suspect in his early 20s and dressed in a gray-hooded sweatshirt struck him in the side of the head and took his phone, the victim told police.

The suspect then got into the passenger side of a black 4-door Nissan Altima, which fled south on Edgewood Road, police said.
