BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two burglaries were recently reported in Bloomfield, police say: one at a local pharmacy, and another involving a stolen Porsche.

The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about the crimes:

May 9 – “Officers responded to 194 Broad Street (iCare Pharmacy) on report of a burglary. Patrol units arrived and observed broken glass at the front and back doors and a brick/rock on the floor by the front door. Video surveillance shows the suspect taking the cash register and various medications and fleeing the scene. This incident is under investigation.”

May 10 – “Officers responded to the 400-block of Essex Avenue on report of a burglary. A resident provided video surveillance showing three males using a patio chair to gain entry into the residence through an unlocked window located on the side of the house. One of the males took the key fob to the resident’s vehicle and then took the vehicle from the driveway. The vehicle, a gray 2021 Porsche Macan, was entered in as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
