BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A Bloomfield pharmacy was the target of a brazen theft last week when a suspect in a blue hoodie walked straight into a restricted area and stole “liquid medication,” police say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, a suspect wearing a blue hoodie with the hood drawn over their face walked into the CVS on Glenwood Avenue on Oct. 14 and went straight into the pharmacy area.
The suspect unlatched the red door and walked into the area where the staff store liquid medication. They then filled a white plastic container with medicine and fled the building, police said. Bloomfield police didn't disclose the amount or type of stolen medicine.
