Bloomfield Police: 3 Days, 3 Stolen Vehicles

Vehicles allegedly stolen in Bloomfield last week included a Yamaha R1 motorcycle, a Chevrolet Wagon and a Honda Accord, police said.

Bloomfield, NJ – Bloomfield police reported that three vehicles were stolen in the space of three days last week.

According to police, a 2009 Yamaha R1 motorcycle was reported stolen from a shed on Ella Street on Dec. 28. The motorcycle was last seen on Christmas Day, police stated.

Police said that a 2002 Chevrolet wagon was reported stolen from the front of a house on Irving Terrace on Dec. 30. The vehicle owner reported that the vehicle was stolen around 2 p.m., and that the doors were unlocked and the keys left in the ignition, police said.

Police stated that a 2000 Honda Accord was reported stolen from a driveway on North 16th Street around 2:34 p.m. on Dec. 30. According to police, the owner left his car running while he ran into the house, and upon his return, the vehicle was gone.
