Bloomfield Police: 3 Vehicles Stolen In 2 Days

Bloomfield residents reported vehicle thefts at the Home Depot and on Bloomfield and Newark avenues, police say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield residents reported three stolen vehicles over a two-day period last month, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following recent incidents took place in the township:

  • Sept. 25 - A resident reported that her vehicle, a 2008 Acura MDX was stolen from the 200 block of Bloomfield Avenue. The vehicle was parked on Bloomfield Avenue around 8 p.m. The vehicle was entered into the NCIC as stolen.
  • Sept. 26 - A resident reported that his vehicle was stolen from the 100 block of Newark Avenue. The vehicle was parked across from his home on Sept. 25 around noon. On the morning of Sept. 26 around 8 a.m., the resident found that the vehicle, a two-door, grey 200 Honda S20, was no longer in the parking space. The vehicle was entered into the NCIC as stolen.
  • Sept. 26 - A Paterson resident reported that his vehicle was stolen from the Home Depot on Orange Street on Sept. 26 at 2:35 p.m. He parked his vehicle, went into the Home Depot and then returned and his vehicle was not where he parked it. The vehicle is described as a white 2013 Ford 350 van. The vehicle was entered into the NCIC as stolen.
