Bloomfield Police: 3 Vehicles Stolen In 3 Days

Bloomfield police say the stolen vehicles included a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle, a 2001 Dodge wagon and a 2016 Range Rover.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield residents recently reported three stolen vehicle incidents in the space of as many days, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, residents reported the following motor vehicle thefts:

  • 5/5/2017 - A 2007 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from the front of a residence on Orchard Street. The owner parked the motorcycle at 6 p.m. and discovered the bike gone the following evening.
  • 5/7/2017 - A 2001 Dodge wagon was stolen from Ampere Parkway. The owner parked the vehicle overnight in front of his residence. The vehicle was discovered missing the following morning.
  • 5/7/2016 - A 2016 Range Rover was stolen from Bromley Place at 5:40 p.m. The owner loaded her two dogs inside the vehicle along with her purse containing the keys to the vehicle. She returned to her residence for a few minutes and upon her return she discovered the vehicle missing. The vehicle was later recovered in the City of Newark. The dogs were also located and returned to the owner. No arrests have been made at this time.
