Bloomfield Police Apprehend Man With Gun On Bloomfield Avenue

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police seized a firearm with an “extended high-capacity magazine” and hollow-point bullets after apprehending a man with a gun on Thursday morning, authorities said.

According to the Bloomfield Division of Public Safety:

“This morning, our officers were dispatched to the area of 542 Bloomfield Avenue on a report of a man with a gun. The officers quickly located the individual and thanks to their brave actions and outstanding police work, the suspect was quickly apprehended and nobody was injured. A hand gun along with an extended high-capacity magazine with hollow-point bullets was recovered.”
