Bloomfield Police Awards Pay Tribute To 27 Local Officers
Bloomfield officers garnered six Class B Medals of Valor and 37 Class C Medals of Merit.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Several members of Bloomfield’s police force got some well-deserved kudos this week during the BPD’s annual awards ceremony. The May 15 ceremony paid tribute to 27 officers, who garnered a total of 43 awards, including six Class B Medals of Valor and 37 Class C Medals of Merit, police said.
“Throughout the year, members of the Bloomfield Police Department consistently go above and beyond the performance of their duties,” the BPD stated in a news release. “These individuals truly embody the Bloomfield Police Department values of ‘Bravery, Pride and Dedication.’”
