Bloomfield Police Charge 18-Year-Old With Robbery

Bloomfield police made an arrest in connection with a robbery that took place on Ashland Avenue, authorities said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police have made an arrest in connection with a robbery that took place on Ashland Avenue on Jan. 7, authorities announced earlier this week.

On Wednesday, the Bloomfield Police Department announced that members of the Fugitive Apprehension Team apprehended Josiah Wade, 18, at a home in Newark.

Police found Wade hiding in a closet. He was apprehended “without incident,” authorities said.

Authorities charged Wade with robbery and transported him to the Essex County Correctional Facility. No additional information was immediately available.
