Bloomfield Police Dept. Promotes 1st New Dep. Chief Since 2005
The Bloomfield PD welcomed 14 new officers and saw several promotions, including a new deputy chief for the first time since 2005.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Police Department recently welcomed 14 new officers to its ranks and saw several promotions, including a new deputy chief for the first time since 2005.
On Jan. 26, the Bloomfield Police Department hosted a promotion/swearing-in ceremony at St. Thomas The Apostle School. During the ceremony, the BPD swore in the following officers: Eric Capito, Michael Cumming, Tyler Ferrentino, Daniel Freid, Jonathan Heussler, Jeffrey Koeck, Suzanne Looges, Patrick Nimer, Godson Noel, Bartosz Piatkowski, Joseph Rivera, Justin Smith, Damian Sorrentino and Ryan Vogel.
The BPD promoted the following officers:
