Bloomfield Police To Hold ‘Neighborhood Watch’ Meeting
The Bloomfield Police Department will hold a town-wide "Neighborhood Watch" meeting on Thursday, May 3.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Police Department will hold a town-wide “Neighborhood Watch” meeting on Thursday, May 3 at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center at 84 Broad Street.
At the public meeting, the BPD’s Community Policing Unit will share information about the benefits of having a “neighborhood watch program.”
Bloomfield officers will be on hand to listen to community members’ concerns and offer advice about how to reduce their risk of become a crime victim. In addition, residents can learn “ways to keep their homes and property safe” and how to better prepare to respond to “suspicious activity.”
