Bloomfield Police Seeking Alleged Charity Jar Thief

Bloomfield police are searching for a woman who allegedly stole $300 from a charity jar intended to help sufferers of RETT syndrome.

NJ.com reported:

“According to Bloomfield Police Director Samuel Demaio, the woman entered the Hot Bagels Abroad & Deli on Broad Street just after 1 p.m. on May 17. As she waited to pay, she wrapped a jacket over the jar, which she used to conceal it as she left on foot.”
