BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield residents recently reported three stolen vehicles in the span of a week, authorities said.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township:

May 26 - An officer responded to La France Avenue on report of a motor vehicle theft. The vehicle owner parked her vehicle in front of her home on 5/25/19 between the hours of 8 and 9 p.m. The following morning at 9 a.m., she observed her vehicle was missing. The complainant left the vehicle unlocked with the key fob inside. The vehicle is a black 2013 four-door Lexus with NJ registration H84GYH. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen.

May 29 - An officer was dispatched to Duane Place on report of a motor vehicle theft. The vehicle owner went outside at approximately 8:40 a.m. on 5/28/19 and her vehicle was missing. The vehicle was last used on 5/28/19 at approximately 8 p.m. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys in the center console. The vehicle is a black 2015 four-door Chevy, with NJ registration C29KWY. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen.

June 2 - Officers responded to 136 Arlington Avenue (JMac Autosales) on report of a motor vehicle theft. The fence of the property was knocked down from a vehicle that was driven from the inside of the parking lot, through the fence and into the street. The vehicle stolen is a blue Ford F550 with no plates. The vehicle was entered NCIC stolen.
