Bloomfield Preps For Bad Weather Tuesday; Schools Closed

Bloomfield preps for possible snow and ice on Feb. 12. Public schools are closed.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Gov. Phil Murphy has declared a state of emergency as weather forecasters call for possible snow, ice and freezing cold on Tuesday, Feb. 12, and Bloomfield officials are taking note.

The Bloomfield School District will be closed due to inclement weather on Tuesday, Feb. 12. All after-school activities, as well as the regular board of education meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m., are cancelled, administrators said.
