“GARBAGE and RECYCLING pick up has been CANCELLED. Garbage pickup will be on your next scheduled day which is Saturday. WEDNESDAY’S recycling will be picked up on Saturday as well. There are no other changes to the schedule at this time.”

The Bloomfield PWP added:

“Due to the heavy and wet nature of the snow, trees and power lines will once again be at risk to come down. We cannot emphasize enough that during the height of the storm, travel only if absolutely necessary. We ask you to utilize your driveway if you have one, in order for us to salt and plow more efficiently. If it becomes MANDATORY to remove your car from a snow emergency street, you will be notified at some point via social media and Swift 911 (emergency phone call notification system).”
