BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield residents recently held two community events to “give back” this Valentine’s Day.
A group of Bloomfield residents recently gathered to make dozens of gift bags for women at a local domestic violence shelter as a Valentine’s Day present.
Residents got together at the Bloomfield Public Library last weekend to make the gift bags as part of the MLK Women’s Health Project. In all, 48 gift bags were made and delivered for Valentine’s Day, which included body mists, shower poufs, lip glosses, nail polishes, teas, chocolates, Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards and magazines.
