Bloomfield Residents Report Stolen Cars Around Holidays
Bloomfield residents reported several stolen vehicles in the week leading up to New Year's Day, authorities say.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield residents reported several stolen vehicles in the week leading up to New Year’s Day, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, residents reported the following incidents:
- Dec. 26 – A 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen at approximately 7 p.m. from the corner of Berkeley Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue. The vehicle was left running while the owner was speaking with his employee. An unknown person entered the vehicle and drove off towards Watsessing Avenue.
- Dec. 26 – A 2003 Ford F250 truck was stolen from the parking lot of 440 Franklin Street. The truck was last seen parked at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24. The vehicle was also equipped with a snow plow. Broken glass was discovered on the ground where the vehicle was last parked.
- Dec. 31 – A 2015 Maserati GHI color white was stolen after the owner left the vehicle running while inside a store located at 406 Bloomfield Avenue. The vehicle was seen driving off east on Bloomfield Avenue.
