BLOOMFIELD, NJ — There’s a new restaurant in Bloomfield, and there’s good news for healthy eaters in Essex County… it’s got gluten-free and vegan options.

Mangia Organica at 271 Glenwood Avenue specializes in healthy homemade pasta, piadina and Italian coffees, according to a post from the Bloomfield Center Alliance (BCA). And yes, the organic eatery has gluten-free and vegan options, the BCA stated.

The new restaurant is located near the downtown train station on Lackawanna Place. According to the BCA, the sit-down eatery is the third new restaurant to open on Glenwood Avenue in the last nine months (Satis Bistro and The Wooden Spoon Southern Kitchen and Saloon being the others).
