Bloomfield Restaurant Week 2017: Where To Find Child Care, Free Parking
Local foodies can find out "what's cooking" in Bloomfield at the 6th Annual Bloomfield Restaurant Week from Aug. 5 to 13.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Local foodies can find out "what's cooking" in Bloomfield at the 6th Annual Bloomfield Restaurant Week, which kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 5 and runs to Sunday, Aug. 13.
The culinary event will give patrons a chance to dine at long-time establishments and explore flavors at Bloomfield's newest arrivals, including more than 20 local restaurants, organizers said.
During the week-long event, each participating restaurant will feature a “budget-friendly” lunch specials and dinner selections at $30 and under (excluding drinks, tax and tip), organizers stated.

Bloomfield Restaurant Week committee member Rodgee Cao, whose restaurant, Spice Thai Cuisine, will be participating for the sixth year, said that restaurant week “is a good and effective way of showcasing the diverse cuisine our beloved town has to offer.”

According to a news release, two-hour complimentary parking courtesy of the Bloomfield Parking Authority will be available during Bloomfield Restaurant week beginning at 11 a.m. at bagged meters from Aug. 5 to Aug. 13.
In addition, the Bloomfield Recreation Department will offer child care via "Drop & Dine" nights at the Bloomfield Civic Center on August 10, 11 and 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. for children in grades K-6 (fee: $20 per night, per child).
