Bloomfield’s ‘Bad Frank’: Kevin Interdonato Fights PTSD With Acting

Interdonato, a combat veteran, uses his love for acting as a therapeutic outlet for PTSD.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — If you’re a Bloomfield resident who happened to watch “Bad Frank” - a major motion picture featuring Tom Sizemore that came out last month – you may have recognized its star, Kevin Interdonato.

He’s your Bloomfield neighbor.

Interdonato, a combat veteran who served in Iraq (2004-2005), used his love for acting to serve as a therapeutic outlet for his PTSD, eventually finding his stability and place in the film industry as an actor, writer and producer.

His publicist told Patch that Interdonato’s favorite audience are his fellow service members.

“Kevin prides himself in being in a position to entertain the soldiers of this country, past and present, through film,” he said. “Soldiers love movies, they serve as an escape for any service member, past or present. Kevin's proud and hopeful to be able to give that escape to his fellow [soldiers], much like movies have done, and still do, for him as well.”
