Bloomfield School Board To Fill Vacancy After Resignation

A one-year term is open on the Bloomfield Board of Education.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Board of Education recently accepted applications from candidates interested in filling an immediate vacancy on the board.

The candidate who claims the seat – left vacant when the board accepted Jessica Salinas’ resignation on March 7 – will serve for a term of one year. The term will expire at the board’s reorganization meeting in January 2024.

Resumes and cover letters from interested applicants were due on March 15. The board will fill the vacancy by appointment.
