Bloomfield Schools Closed Thursday, Snow Storm Expected
Due to inclement weather, all Bloomfield Schools will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 4, officials said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- Due to predictions of "inclement weather," all Bloomfield Schools will be closed on Thursday, Jan.3, administrators announced Wednesday night.
"Enjoy the snow day," Bloomfield High administrators stated.
The Bloomfield Department of Public Works offered the following information on Wednesday:

"Our specialized weather forecast is currently predicting 3 to 6 or more inches of snow starting tomorrow morning (1/4/18) at approximately 3 to 4 a.m. This forecast also calls for wind gusts over 40 mph, therefore, visibility will be extremely limited and rush hour driving may become hazardous. We are preparing as we speak and we will do our best to make our roads as safe as possible."
