Bloomfield Schools Make Statement On National Social Media Threat

The Bloomfield Public School District released the following message on Thursday:

"The Bloomfield Police Department in conjunction with the Bloomfield Board of Education are aware of a threat made on social media sites (TikTok/Snapchat) warning of nationwide school shootings on December 17. There is no correlation linking this threat to Bloomfield at all. The Bloomfield Police Department has already increased patrols in the area of every school within our township to make our school community as safe as possible."
